A. 1/4" rod to fit across the goose neck inside the boom.

B. Harken double block with becket, Model#114314-$18.99-Page 264.

E. Clamcleat (Junior Aluminum w/fairlead), Model#115725-$7.00-Page 279.

Drill a 1/4" hole all the way thru the goose neck fitting to accept A. The boom will prevent the rod from sliding out.

Attach B and one end of K to A.

Cut a hole in boom about 3' from front and attach D with 3/16" stainless steel pop rivets.

Attach E about 2' from front of boom with 3/16" stainless steel pop rivets.

Attach one end of J to becket on B and feed thru C & B, out D and thru E.

Put F on K and attach to C with nicopress.

Cut hole in back end of boom and insert G and attach with 3/16" stainless steel pop rivets.

Attach L to F with nicopress, feed thru G and attach H with nicopress.

Be sure to use thimble inside each of the end fittings of the flexible wire.

This set up will give an 8 to 1 purchase on the main outhaul and can be adjusted from the companion way or the mast.
